Job Summary
Charge Nurse (RN) provides clinical leadership and professional nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a rehabilitation setting, including comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation, and coordination of care while supporting interdisciplinary collaboration and high-quality outcomes. Responsibilities include directing clinical personnel during crisis, coordinating admissions, ensuring plans align with the medical plan of care, delegating tasks according to scope of practice, and delivering evidence-based nursing care. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program (AD/ Diploma/ BSN), current MO RN license (or compact), BLS, and ability to perform required physical duties; night shift opportunities available; part-time and full-time positions offered.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of hire and/or compact license as applicable
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to bend, grip, reach, kneel, twist, and squat to perform essential job functions.
