Nurse Home Visitor-Maternal Infant

Nurse Home Visitor-Maternal Infant provides in-home nursing visits in the Franklin County area, performing health assessments of mother and newborn, addressing questions, coordinating referrals to community resources, and supporting families within a multidisciplinary team. Duties include recording observations in real-time using in-home electronic records, visiting target hospitals to schedule visits, and maintaining multiple home visit slots (at least six per week) with flexible scheduling. Requires an active Ohio RN license, BLS, and certification as a Lactation Educator or Consultant; an Associate degree in Nursing is required with BSN preferred. The role involves travel within the catchment area and maintaining driving qualifications and auto insurance. Strong skills in family assessment across physical and psychosocial domains, collaboration, patient advocacy, time management, and use of laptops for in-home assessments are essential.
