Job Summary
Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions while maintaining accurate, detailed reports and vital signs. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient status, then modify treatment plans based on responses. Direct or supervise less-skilled nursing personnel and coordinate with healthcare team members to implement care plans. Instruct individuals and families on health education, disease prevention, or childbirth, and prepare patients for examinations. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, two years of experience in a school educational environment, and BLS certification preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- 2+ years' experience as a school in an educational environment
- Impeccable organization skills
- Able to establish rapport with students and their parents
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
