Nurse/General Practitioner - special interest in ADHD

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive ADHD assessments and support pathways for University of Waikato students by gathering information from students, clinicians, and whānau. Provide diagnosis where appropriate and develop shared care plans that support student wellbeing and academic success. Manage medication initiation and coordination with community providers, while contributing to service development and advising colleagues on ADHD-related matters. Work within a multidisciplinary Student Health Services team to modify health barriers to learning. Full-time 37.5-hour schedule available with flexible part-time options; salary based on skills and experience. Required Qualifications
- Current relevant New Zealand registration and practising certificate
- Experience in assessment, diagnosis and clinical decision-making
- An ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A commitment to culturally responsive care and Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Applicants must have the legal right to live and work in NZ in accordance with the NZ Immigration regulations
