Job Summary
The Nurse-Family Partnership Public Health Nurse Home Visitor (NFP NHV) provides comprehensive nursing services to first-time pregnant individuals and their families. Responsibilities include conducting in-home and telehealth visits, building and maintaining a caseload of clients, developing therapeutic relationships, and supporting client-identified goals through education and resource referral. The role involves extensive documentation, collaboration with professionals, and participation in clinical meetings. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Required Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania nursing licensure in good standing
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an Accredited University
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Work or student experience in public health, maternal-child health, mental health/behavioral health, or related field, such as Early Childhood services in community settings
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish/English preferred)
- Interest in special projects as needed
- Open and adaptive to change
