Job Summary
Nurse Extern Spine opening at Mission Hospital, an HCA Healthcare facility, focused on hands-on exposure to the Registered Nurse role within the nursing team. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, monitoring vital signs, supporting mobility, wound, catheter, and basic nursing care, documenting care and communicating updates to the nursing team, helping patients and families understand care plans, maintaining infection prevention and a clean, organized patient area, and engaging in learning opportunities and career development with your supervisor/preceptor. Requires Basic Life Support within 30 days of start date, CNA certification, and enrollment in an accredited nursing program; an Associate or Bachelor’s degree is listed as qualification options. Required Qualifications
