Job Summary
Nurse Extern PRN position joining the CarePartners healthcare team in western North Carolina. Gain hands-on experience in the Registered Nurse role by delivering essential patient care, assisting with ADLs, monitoring vital signs, wound and catheter care, specimen collection, accurate documentation, patient and family education, infection prevention, and maintaining a safe, organized care environment. Collaborate with your supervisor/preceptor to develop your career plan and participate in ongoing learning opportunities to build confidence for more advanced responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- NC (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant
- In RN School Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
