Job Summary
Provide essential patient care as a Nurse Extern under RN supervision, assisting with ADLs, vital signs, mobility, wound care, catheter care, specimen collection, and other basic procedures. Document care accurately, communicate updates with the nursing team, help patients and families understand care plans, maintain safe and clean patient areas with infection prevention practices, and engage in learning opportunities with a supervisor/preceptor to build nursing competencies as you progress through your nursing program. This role supports growth toward more advanced responsibilities and is located in Asheville, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - NC
- RN School Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
