Nurse Extern PRN

Provide essential care for patients by assisting with activities of daily living, checking vital signs, supporting mobility, and ensuring comfort and hygiene. Perform nursing tasks including wound care, catheter care, specimen collection, and other basic procedures as competency grows. Document care accurately and communicate timely updates with the nursing team to maintain seamless coordination. Help patients and families understand care plans and offer guidance for health and recovery. Maintain patient areas by following infection prevention practices, managing equipment, and ensuring a safe environment. Engage in learning opportunities and partner with supervisors to build a personal career development plan. This role offers hands-on experience within a full continuum of post-acute care services in western North Carolina.
