Nurse Extern Neurology PRN

Nurse Extern Neurology PRN supporting the neurology unit under RN supervision. Perform basic patient care activities (vital signs, hygiene and comfort measures, mobility and positioning, intake and output monitoring, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record). Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and the interprofessional team to support individualized care plans and patient/family education. Gain hands-on exposure to neurology-specific protocols such as stroke alerts and neuro assessments, with a focus on developing clinical judgment, time management, and communication skills. Mentored by experienced nurses in a high-acuity neurology environment, with potential to advance into an RN role upon graduation and licensure. Flexible, as-needed scheduling may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
