Complete patient care tasks under RN direction by answering patient calls, monitoring vital signs, and assessing physical condition. Assist with activities of daily living including baths, ambulation, feeding, and hygiene while performing procedures like dressing changes and specimen collection. Relay critical patient information through charting and communicate changes in status to the licensed nurse. Orient new patients and families to the unit while maintaining a compassionate environment and active participation in department initiatives.
