Job Summary
The Nurse Extern assists the Professional Nurse and Practical Nurse with daily routine and patient care activities in the Nursing Units, including both indirect and direct care. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, be currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program, have passed a pharmacology class, and started clinical rotations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and a current BLS healthcare provider card are also required.
