Job Summary
Nurse Extern Cardiac Care Five supports the nursing team by helping with ADLs, monitoring vital signs, aiding mobility, and ensuring patient comfort and hygiene; performs wound and catheter care, collects specimens, and participates in other basic procedures as experience grows; documents care and communicates updates to the nursing team; assists patients and families in understanding care plans; maintains a safe, clean environment and adheres to infection prevention practices; collaborates with a supervisor/preceptor on a personal career development plan and seeks ongoing learning opportunities to enhance patient care; requires Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days, and either an Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree, with at least 1 year of experience; this role is based in Aurora, CO with no travel required.
