Job Summary
Perform basic nursing tasks under direct supervision, including patient care, reporting patient conditions, and maintaining equipment and unit cleanliness. Demonstrate knowledge and skills appropriate to the age of patients served on the assigned unit. Maintain good academic standing in an accredited nursing program with anticipated completion within 24 months. Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Work irregular schedules with potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens, ionizing radiation, and communicable diseases.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- must be enrolled in an Accredited Nursing Program
- anticipated completion from program within 24 months from date of hire
- In academic good standing in your Accredited Nursing Program
- Medical Technology
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Must be currently enrolled and in good academic standing in a professional nursing program
- BLS certification
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role
- BLS certification must be obtained prior to providing direct patient care
