Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency situations across multiple campuses while documenting all phases in patient records. Maintain a safe, collaborative environment by collecting and analyzing psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors; set measurable goals; coordinate care, provide education, and manage discharge planning. Demonstrate personal responsibility for ongoing development and follow professional and legal delegation standards. Requires two years of recent ER experience, active RN licensure in Nebraska, Iowa, or compact, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Includes 25% premium differentials, night/weekend pay, sign-on bonus, and educational assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an RN nursing program
- Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), within 6 months of hire
- TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course), within 12 months of hire
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, within 18 months of hire)
- Ability to travel to multiple metro facilities as needed on short notice
- 2 years of recent ED experience
