Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency consumers across multiple campuses, maintaining a safe environment while documenting all phases of the process. Provide essential care in emergency situations, including care coordination, education, and discharge planning, while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team. Requires two years of recent Emergency Room experience, active RN licensure in Nebraska, Iowa, or via compact, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Includes ability to travel to multiple facilities on short notice. Earns 25% premium differentials plus standard night and weekend pay, with a sign-on bonus and educational assistance available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an RN nursing program
- Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), within 6 months of hire
- TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course), within 12 months of hire
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, within 18 months of hire)
- Ability to travel to multiple metro facilities as needed on short notice
- 2 years of recent ED experience
