Nurse Educator - Perioperative

Job Summary
Design and develop educational programs and curricula tailored to nursing staff needs, covering clinical procedures, patient care protocols, and regulatory compliance. Conduct workshops and in-service training to enhance staff knowledge and skills, while facilitating orientation programs for new hires. Evaluate clinical competencies to provide feedback and create individual development plans, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and best practices. Collaborate with nursing leadership to align initiatives with quality improvement goals and maintain accurate records for regulatory reporting. Requires RN license, 3-5 years clinical experience, and 2-3 years educator experience; Master's in Nursing preferred. Onsite at North Shore Medical Center, 40 weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing
- Registered Nurse [RN - State License]
- 3-5 years Clinical nursing experience
- Experience in perioperative nursing
