Job Summary
Consult nursing staff on policy interpretation, evidence-based practices, and competency assessment. Provide clinical oversight for new hires, assist with graduate transitions, and meet regularly with orientees and preceptors. Confer with the Director of Nursing Education regarding new hire competency. Teach staff members, evaluate their skills, and participate in planning educational programs based on evidence-based standards. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. Requires BSN (Masters preferred), NYS RN license, ACLS, and BLS. Posted salary $65/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN)
- Masters in Nursing preferred (APRN- Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Educator)
- NYS RN License required
- Excellent communication skills- verbal and written
- Ability to relate effectively to patients, families, and staff
- Current ACLS and BLS required
