Nurse Educator - Operating Room

Coordinate staff development and educational needs for patient care nursing staff, patients, and families across UNC Rex's operating rooms in Raleigh and Holly Springs. Lead clinical practice groups, conduct learning needs assessments, and design evidence-based standards of care and clinical pathways. Mentor graduate students, assist in orienting nursing students, and develop instructional programs and patient education materials. Serve as a clinical resource and role model while developing and evaluating teaching protocols and e-learning resources. Perform these advanced education responsibilities with minimal supervision, collaborating across disciplines to address specialty practice areas.
