Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Educator serves as a clinical expert, educator, and mentor collaborating with clinical leadership and staff to support evidence-based practice, education, and professional development. Responsibilities include designing and implementing clinical education programs, mentoring nursing staff, evaluating educational outcomes, and supporting onboarding and competency validation. Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, national nursing certification, and at least two years of Registered Nurse experience, along with Texas RN licensure and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- National nursing certification
- Minimum of two (2) years of full-time Registered Nurse experience
- Current State of Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) / Health Care Provider certification
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and application of adult learning principles
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing or Education (preferred)
- Experience in a clinical educator role (preferred)
