Job Summary
Conduct educational resources development for all clinical staff to ensure clinical competence in home care. Deliver individualized, evidence-based education plans for new clinicians and teach in the didactic portion of orientation. Participate in hiring interviews and serve as a mentor to preceptors, providing feedback and planning patient care activities for new hires. Evaluate clinician performance through competency testing, joint visits, and documentation reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EMR applications, agency policies, and best practice standards while contributing to annual clinical competency content. Provide on-site support and education to clinical pods regarding new procedures and equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in clinical field (RN, OT, PT, SLP)
- Licensed in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
- 3 of which are recent home care
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Home Health field
- Teaching experience
- Knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and E-Learning modalities
