Job Summary
Lead the assessment, design, delivery and evaluation of education programs that enhance clinical knowledge, skills and competence of nursing and multidisciplinary staff. Manage designated education portfolios and projects, ensuring training programs remain current and aligned with organisational priorities. Foster an inclusive learning culture by providing equitable access to education, mentorship and professional development opportunities for all staff. Collaborate with Nurse Managers, Nursing Unit Managers, Clinical Nurse Consultants, and other nursing staff to identify learning needs and contribute to workforce capability, professional development and high-quality patient care. Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate education programs and knowledge of innovative educational strategies including e-learning are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Post-graduate education qualifications or relevant post-graduate clinical qualifications with a Cert IV in Training and Assessment (or working towards)
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate education programs
- Demonstrated knowledge of innovative educational strategies, tools and approaches including e-learning
- Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in daily practice as a Nurse Educator
