Job Summary
Evaluate, educate, and train patients, caregivers, and facility staff on Amerita's home and alternate-site infusion therapies. Conduct patient assessments to support placement into home care settings and coordinate transitions from hospital to home in collaboration with providers and internal teams. Partner with Clinical Sales Executives to ensure clinical readiness prior to discharge and deliver in-services and continuing education programs for internal staff and referral sources. Maintain accurate documentation of all education and transition activities while ensuring compliance with regulatory and HIPAA standards. Act as a clinical liaison between pharmacy, sales, and operations teams to align messaging and support regional operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Active RN license in state of practice
- Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Must meet company driving standards
- Must live in the Charlottesville, VA area
Desired Qualifications
- BSN
- Infusion therapy or specialty pharmacy experience
- Experience in adult education, clinical training, or healthcare education
- Previous experience supporting sales or business development initiatives
- Strong clinical expertise in infusion therapy and patient education
- Ability to translate complex clinical concepts into clear, actionable education for patients and non-clinical audiences
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and teaching skills
- Strong collaboration and cross-functional communication abilities
- Organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with CRM or clinical documentation platforms
