Nurse Educator 2 - Lennar - Full Time

Develop and evaluate activities to address knowledge, skills, or practice deficits in perioperative services. Create a learning environment by collaborating with practitioners, leaders, nurses, educators, patient care staff, and unit management to provide continuing education and inservices. Coordinate staff education to ensure proper equipment and supply usage, while documenting, reviewing, and recommending competency revisions. Assess and evaluate orientation processes for new employees, focusing on retention and growth. Facilitate multi-site/specialty unit orientation for licensed and unlicensed personnel during onboarding and role changes. Partner with individuals and groups to share expertise in planning and decision-making, and participate in planning continuing education programs, conferences, and workshops. Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures.
