Nurse Director Emergency Department

Direct nursing service activities for the assigned unit with 24-hour, seven-day responsibility for nursing operations. Establish annual operating goals, manage team leaders and supervisors, and prepare the unit annual operating and capital expense budget. Ensure highest clinical quality, customer service, and cost effectiveness while integrating unit efforts with Medical Center philosophy. Lead cross-functional teams, identify staffing patterns, and set staff schedules based on patient acuity and census. Maintain appropriate licenses, accreditations, and safety compliance policies. Monitor budget expenses, implement performance improvement programs, and coordinate inter-departmental services.
