Nurse Director Cancer Center

Direct nursing service activities for the assigned unit with 24-hour, seven-day responsibility for nursing operations. Establish annual operating goals and objectives aligned with Medical Center needs, preparing unit budgets and managing capital expenses. Plan and direct team leader and supervisor activities while identifying staffing patterns to cover unit needs around the clock. Ensure highest clinical quality, customer service, and cost effectiveness by maintaining accreditations, monitoring compliance, and implementing performance improvement programs. Lead cross-functional teams to drive rapid changes for clinical outcomes and coordinate inter-departmental services. Maintain current knowledge of database information systems and documentation standards while acting as a focal communication point.
