Job Summary
Provide direct daily nursing care for patients in an addiction-treatment setting at Malvern Treatment Centers. Responsibilities include organizing and delivering individualized nursing care under the Nurse Manager, participating in patient teaching, coordinating discharge planning, administering medications and controlled substances, maintaining infection-control practices, implementing safety and crisis measures, documenting assessments, developing and revising written nursing care plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and supporting patient education and literature dissemination. The ideal candidate will hold an LPN license in Pennsylvania, be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, possess CPR certification, and have clinical experience in addiction treatment. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current CPR certification
- Experience in addiction treatment preferred
- Knowledge of Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Program standards and CARF standards
