Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to end-user clients within identified clinical scope, responsibly triage medical conditions, and respond quickly to emergencies. Analyze medical history and conditions to address minor illnesses, deliver first aid, and provide personalized health counseling. Identify population health trends to develop health education seminars, determine formulary products, and improve population health outcomes. Coordinate administrative activities including data reporting, formulary ordering, and medication management. Report site-specific problems and safety events to managers per policy. Requires RN licensure, BLS certification, and two years of occupational health experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from NLN accredited school of nursing (Diploma, AD, or BSN)
- RN licensure with Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health care provider certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training
- CAOHC Certification
- NIOSH spirometry training/certification
- At least two (2) years' experience in occupational health or related experience such as public health/community health, outpatient clinic, emergency department or ambulatory healthcare, or physician office nursing
- At least one year experience (within last 5 years) in acute care setting
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Competence in basic Microsoft Office suite programs
