Job Summary
Coordinate nursing care on Neuro/Cardiac ICU units by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized plans; supervise non-RN personnel; assume Charge Nurse responsibilities; collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective care, discharge planning, and staff development; demonstrate competency in neuro assessment and airway management, including suctioning, and participate in specialized neuro procedures within the ICU. Provides education and documents outcomes, supports performance expectations, and ensures Quality of Care across the department/unit.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
