Nurse Clinician - Physician Primary Care Full-time Days

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments via phone or in person, perform pre-attending care, and independently execute routine nursing duties including phlebotomy, medication administration, and complex procedures like conscious sedation and wound drainage. Interpret test abnormalities, triage incoming telephone calls, and manage urgent medical situations while maintaining a safe, OSHA-compliant work environment. Collaborate with physicians and administrative units to coordinate patient care, delegate tasks to licensed staff, and initiate patient education programs. Document all interventions and assessments clearly in medical records, ensuring compliance with protocols and Illinois law.
