Nurse Clinician - Outpatient, General Cardiology and Preventive Cardiology

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments via phone, MyChart messaging, and in-person clinic visits for general and preventive cardiology populations. Perform routine nursing duties including phlebotomy, medication administration, vital signs measurement, and complex procedures such as conscious sedation and wound drainage. Manage urgent medical situations, operate emergency equipment, and triage incoming telephone calls using clinical assessment skills. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and administrative units to coordinate care, delegate tasks to LPNs and medical assistants, and serve as a resource for daily problem-solving. Initiate and organize patient education to ensure individuals and families understand their cardiovascular conditions and can demonstrate return skills. Maintain a safe work environment, ensure OSHA compliance, and document all interventions clearly in patient medical records. Work Monday through Friday in five 8-hour shifts with two days of remote work post-orientation.
