Nurse Clinician-Gastroenterology Full Time Days

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments via phone or in person, perform pre-attending care, and independently execute specialty procedures including conscious sedation, chemotherapy administration, and wound drainage. Interpret test abnormalities, triage incoming telephone calls, and manage urgent medical situations in accordance with organizational protocols. Serve as a resource for staff and physicians on daily problem-solving and decision-making while delegating tasks to Licensed Practical Nurses and Medical Assistants. This Full Time, salaried position operates Monday through Friday at 40 hours per week on the Lake Forest Hospital campus. Candidates must hold an accredited nursing degree, Illinois RN licensure, and Basic CPR certification with recent clinical experience.
