Job Summary
Nurse Clinical Leader provides leadership and clinical expertise during shifts and within the department, manages unit resources, supervises personnel to ensure appropriate staffing levels, serves as clinical support for staff, and leads activities such as scheduling, staff competency maintenance, orientation, performance reviews, and governance. Works a bedside RN shift with responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using nursing processes, with emphasis on leadership, staffing, and coordination of care.
Required Qualifications
- Current Nursing License to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- BSN within four years of hire or promotion (if applicable)
- Compact license transfer within 60 days (if applicable)
