Job Summary
Nurse Clinical Leader Orthopedics Acute provides leadership and clinical expertise on the unit, managing staffing and resources, supervising staff, guiding onboarding and performance reviews, and supporting bedside RN care during shifts. Responsibilities include leading change, scheduling, maintaining staff competencies, selecting/orientation of new employees, disciplinary actions, and contributing to professional governance, while also directly delivering patient care within the nursing process and coordinating with the health team to ensure safe, high-quality orthopedic-acute patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Current Nursing License to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (degree will be verified)
- Registered Nurses (RNs) hired or promoted into this role must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four years of their hire or promotion date
