Job Summary
Lead nursing operations in the Orthopedics Acute unit, managing staffing, scheduling, staff competencies, new employee orientation, performance reviews, and staff development. Provide bedside RN care, coordinate interdisciplinary care, ensure staffing levels meet census/acuities, promote safety and quality, and mentor staff to advance from novice to expert in practice.
Required Qualifications
- Current Nursing License to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- Registered Nurses (RNs) hired or promoted into this role must obtain their BSN within four years of hire or promotion date
