Job Summary
Nurse Clinical Leader in Orthopedics Acute provides unit leadership and clinical expertise, manages staffing and resources, supervises personnel, and serves as clinical support while delivering bedside RN care using the nursing process. Responsibilities include leading change, scheduling, competencies management, new employee orientation, performance reviews, and governance. Skills include leadership, communication, problem-solving, clinical knowledge, resource management, patient safety, and mentorship. Requires current RN license, BSN (or to obtain BSN within four years), and BLS.
Required Qualifications
- Current Nursing License to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (degree will be verified)
- Registered Nurses (RNs) hired or promoted into this role must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four years of their hire or promotion date
