Job Summary
Nurse Clinical Leader Orthopedics Acute provides leadership and clinical expertise, manages unit resources, and supervises staff to ensure appropriate staffing and quality patient care. Responsibilities include leading change, coordinating scheduling, maintaining staff competencies, orienting new employees, conducting performance reviews, and supporting professional governance, while also performing bedside nursing with the nursing process, coordinating care with the health team, and promoting safety and quality. Required Qualifications
- Current Nursing License to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- BSN or higher (Bachelor’s degree in nursing)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (degree will be verified). Registered Nurses (RNs) hired or promoted into this role must obtain their BSN within four years of hire or promotion date.
