Job Summary
Nurse Clinical Leader in Orthopedics Acute provides leadership and clinical expertise in the unit, manages staffing and resources, supervises personnel, and supports staff while delivering bedside RN care using the nursing process. Responsibilities include leading change, scheduling, maintaining staff competencies, orientation of new employees, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring staffing levels align with census and acuities. The role also involves guiding professional governance, promoting safety, quality, and patient experience, and overseeing staff development and competency initiatives. Requires a BSN, current RN license, and BLS; BSN must be completed within four years of hire/promotion; 36-hour weekly schedule at Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital (Billings, MT) with hourly pay range $44.42–$65.70, dependent on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current Nursing License to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (degree will be verified)
- Registered Nurses hired or promoted into this role must obtain their BSN within four years of hire or promotion
