Job Summary
Provide medical evaluation and care for student injuries, illnesses, and emergencies, including organizing and accurately administering prescribed medications. Maintain detailed medical documentation, communicate with parents and providers, and participate in shared on-call rotation for urgent situations. Coordinate with the program psychiatrist to support student medication management while leading, training, and overseeing nursing team members. Foster a safe, supportive healthcare environment within the residential school setting. Full-time on-site role in Eureka, Montana with shared on-call hours for emergencies only.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum age 21
- Valid Montana driver's license with a clean driving record
- Active RN/LPN license in the State of Montana
- Ability to pass a Montana State background check
- Maintain current First Aid and CPR certification
- CAQH profile and NPI number required for credentialing
- Proficient in medical terminology, charting, and medication administration
- Skilled in using standard nursing tools and assessing physical conditions
- Familiar with word processing software and basic network navigation
- Experience or knowledge of health insurance submission processes
- Skill in assessing the physical condition of the clients
- Skill in communicating medical situations accurately to students, parents, and staff
- Willingness to receive professional feedback and pursue ongoing training
