Job Summary
Conduct medical case management for work-related injuries by assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating injured or disabled individuals across Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, and surrounding areas. Travel up to two hours one-way to doctors' offices, hospitals, and other locations to monitor worker progress and report results to employers and insurance carriers. Collaborate with insurance carriers, medical providers, attorneys, and employees while utilizing organization, timeline adherence, and communication skills to operate autonomously with minimal oversight. Requires a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in NY and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in NY
- Valid Driver's License, and good driving history
- Ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight
- Skilled at patient education
- organization and timeline adherence skills
- PC and technology skills
- communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in NY
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in NJ
- Experience in case management of workers comp cases
- Recommended certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC)
