Job Summary

Serve as the administrative point of contact for psychological health programs, facilitating tracking, reporting, and liaison with behavioral health directives. Coordinate with RC leadership on case management initiatives, plan regional meetings, and provide verbal and written reports on significant matters. Assess, consult, and refer clients to establish treatment plans that optimize mental fitness and readiness while monitoring ongoing care effectiveness. Facilitate access to services, advocate for Soldiers, and coordinate with providers and Commanders to determine retention or separation criteria. Participate in critical incident response to ensure appropriate TEM and CISI services are provided.

Required Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of experience within the last three (3) years as a registered nurse case manager
  • Must have experience working in a complex organizational environment
  • Must understand labor relations, military operations, and the Military Health System, TRICARE and VA as it pertains to the RC
  • Ability to be flexible to work varied shifts per rotation to provide workplace on-site services
  • Associates Degree of Nursing
  • Graduate from a college or university accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
  • Licensed or certified in the state where the client/patient is physically located (for NCM assigned to perform services related to clients in other states, e.g. telephonic case management)
  • Possess one of the following certifications: Commission for Case Manager Certification Certified Case Manager (CCM), Certification Disability Management Specialists Commission: Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS), Association of Rehabilitation Nurses: Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN), American Board for Occupational Health Nurses Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) or Certified Occupational Health Nurse-Specialist (COHN-S), National Board for Certification...
