Nurse Case Manager - Fredericksburg, VA

Field Nurse Case Manager to cover Fredericksburg and surrounding communities (Alexandria, Dumfries, Chantilly, Ashburn). Travel up to 2 hours one-way to doctors’ offices, hospitals, and other locations. Responsible for medical case management of work-related injuries, including assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals. Works with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees; monitors progress and reports results to employer and carriers. Must be willing to learn and handle catastrophic cases. Qualifications include valid RN licenses in VA and DC (DC license required within 30 days of start), experience in workers’ comp case management (preferred), and certifications CCM/CRRN/CDMS/CRC preferred with REQUIRED within two years of hire. Strong organization, technology, and communication skills; autonomous work style; patient education skills; valid driver’s license and good driving history.
