Nurse Case Manager - Fredericksburg, VA

Field Nurse Case Manager to cover Fredericksburg and surrounding communities (Alexandria, Dumfries, Chantilly, Ashburn). This field/home-based role involves travel up to 2 hours one-way to doctors’ offices, hospitals, and other locations. Responsible for medical case management of work-related injuries, including assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborates with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees; monitors progress of injured workers and reports results to employers and carriers. Must be willing to learn and take catastrophic cases. Qualifications include an active RN license in VA (and DC within 30 days), experience in workers’ comp case management preferred, and recommended certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC) with REQUIRED completion within two years of hire. Required skills include strong organization, time management, computer and technology proficiency, and excellent communication. Must operate autonomously with the ability to educate patients.
