Job Summary
Field Nurse Case Manager to support injured workers throughout Baltimore and nearby communities; hybrid position with regular local travel for in-person patient appointments (Baltimore area). Requires compact RN license in MD, WCCM, and MCRSP within 30 days of start. Responsibilities include medical case management of work-related injuries, coordinating with carriers, providers, attorneys, employers, and employees, and monitoring progress and reporting results. Located in the Baltimore area with travel to Towson, Phoenix, Middle River, Aberdeen, and surrounding areas.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in MD
- RN - WCCM required
- Registered with MCRSP within 30 days of start date
- Experience in case management of workers comp cases, preferred
- Must be willing to learn and take catastrophic cases
- Recommended certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC) preferred. REQUIRED within two years of the date of hire
- Skills required for success: organization and timeline adherence skills, PC and technology skills, communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
- Ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight
- Skilled at patient education
- Valid Driver’s License, and good driving history
