Job Summary
Field Nurse Case Manager in Baltimore area responsible for medical case management of workers’ compensation patients. Requires in-person patient appointments ~80% travel within Baltimore and nearby communities (Aberdeen, Towson, Middle River, Phoenix, etc.). Must hold MD RN license, RN-WCCM, and be willing to travel; compact MD license preferred. Collaborates with insurance carriers, medical providers, attorneys, employers, and employees to assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate injured workers’ care. Includes patient education, autonomous work style, strong organization/timeline adherence, and computer/tech proficiency; valid driver’s license with good driving history is required. Certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC) preferred and REQUIRED within two years of hire. Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in MD
- RN - WCCM required
- Registered with MCRSP within 30 days of start date
- Experience in case management of workers comp cases, preferred
- Must be willing to learn and take catastrophic cases
- Recommended certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC) preferred. REQUIRED within two years of the date of hire
- Valid Driver’s License, and good driving history
