Job Summary
Evaluate client situations over the phone and provide in-person assessments, education, and emotional support to women facing unplanned pregnancies. Deliver counseling, connect clients with resources, and perform limited medical services while documenting all interactions in the electronic Client Management System. Intervene to promote client safety within ethical and legal parameters, communicating pertinent information to the Medical Director according to organizational policies. Work onsite in a weekday schedule within a compassionate medical team dedicated to rescuing children and serving families.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a current LVN or RN nursing license and is in good standing with the state medical board for the state in which you are applying for or a compact license equivalent.
- Must possess current and up to date CPR certification healthcare providers.
- Understand the importance of and can follow HIPPA guidelines.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and growing environment.
- Must be dependable, stable, and capable of following through with commitments.
- Must be passionately aligned with the mission and vision of Human Coalition.
- Must have a sincere desire to reach out to abortion determined women.
- Must be able to effectively evaluate a client's situation and circumstances over the phone to identify and address client chief complaint or concern.
- Must be able to provide education on abortion, parenting, and adoption services to patients over the phone and in person.
- Must be able to connect women with necessary resources to relieve pressure from circumstances.
- Must be able to utilize knowledge base and compassion to provide quality follow up care to client.
- Must be able to perform limited medical services to women facing unplanned pregnancies.
- Must be able to offer counseling, education, and emotional support to clients and their family/significant other.
- Must be able to document all client interactions and execute care plan accurately and timely in our electronic Client Management System (CMS).
- Must be able to communicate pertinent information to the Medical Director according to current organizational policies and procedures.
- Must be able to intervene to promote client safety and security in manners consistent with the ethical and legal parameters of the scope of the professional nurse's practice.
- Must demonstrate patient centered/patient valued behaviors and must be capable of handling both medical and non-medical based questions utilizing independent judgment.
- Must be able to demonstrate effective interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
- Must possess excellent listening skills.
- Must be able to work onsite in Grapevine & Fort Worth, TX.
Desired Qualifications
- 2 -4 years of prior clinical experience in any specialty (Preferred).
- Emphasis on obstetrical and gynecological care preferred.
