Job Summary
Provide a comprehensive program of school nursing services including assessment, health screening, immunization and communicable disease control, and referral activities related to student health and wellness; collaborate with schools and health staff to review IHPs/504 plans/IEPs, enter student health records into Qmlativ, supervise medication administration, provide emergency nursing services, and contribute to a supportive environment with strong communication and cultural competence. Must hold a BSN and WA RN license with ESA certification eligibility; CPR/First Aid current; background check; experience with pediatric health and diverse populations preferred. 0.5 FTE continuing position at Evergreen Public Schools in Vancouver, WA with benefits as described, including potential paid leave and eligibility for district-sponsored retirement and health programs.
Required Qualifications
- BSN degree
- Valid Washington State RN license
- ESA Certification or eligibility for ESA certification
- Current CPR with First Aid
- Washington State Patrol background check
- School nursing experience preferred
- Good communication skills
- Regular attendance
- Experience with diverse populations
- Ability to learn and operate computer and software systems
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Type II Driver's License eligibility
