Job Summary
Provide intensive case management to individuals with chronic and persistent mental illness within an individual and/or group context. Conduct assessments, manage psychiatric diagnoses, treatments, and medications, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams while adhering to the Saskatchewan Mental Health Act. Maintain advanced organizational and interpersonal skills to work independently and adapt to changing conditions, including evenings and weekends as required. Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license and be registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan.
Required Qualifications
- Min. five years recent experience in a community or acute mental health setting
- Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Knowledge of the Saskatchewan Mental Health Act
- Knowledge in psychiatric diagnoses, treatment, and medications
- Knowledge in LEAN management system
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions
