Job Summary
Conduct screening, triage, assessment, treatment, and case coordination services for a community mental health and addictions population under manager direction. Deliver program consultation, coordinate interventions, supervise students in clinical practicum, and provide public education on mental health resources. Maintain nursing practice standards while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and community agencies. Collect, record, and report comprehensive client information accurately using database systems. Apply practical knowledge of the Mental Health Services Act and various intervention strategies for individuals and groups. Manage workload and demonstrate leadership skills in program development. Requires a valid driver's license, vehicle access, and current registration with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan.
Required Qualifications
- min 2 yrs post grad recent recognized mental health & addiction exp
- Graduate from school of general nursing with training in psychiatric nursing

- Work collaboratively w/ a multidisciplinary team & other agencies in the community
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of community resources for clients and caregivers
- Ability to enter and retrieve data in computer database systems
- Ability to identify, implement and evaluate areas of client difficulty
- Excellent knowledge and skills related to community psychiatric nursing practice
- Demonstrated leadership skills, workload management and administration skills
- Requires a valid driver's license
- May require access to a vehicle for work
- Current registration w/ Registered Psych. Nursing Assoc. of SK (CRPNS) required
