Job Summary
Assist the professional nurse in providing quality patient care by taking vital signs, transporting patients, and helping with interventions. Interact with other departments and perform cleaning and restocking of supplies under direction. Maintain a schedule of 32 hours per week with an on-call rotation. Complete Basic Life Support certification within the first 90 days of employment. This role supports the specialty technician team in delivering direct patient support and operational maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- Successful completion of a healthcare certification or training program (e.g., C.N.A., SRHC Spec Tech University, foundations course in nursing school, EMT training course, etc.)
- 3 years of nurse assistant experience in lieu of education
- Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully obtained within the first 90 days of employment
Desired Qualifications
